Julie brings over 15 years of experience in aerospace systems and venture-backed deep-tech startups. She leads PAVE Space with a mission to make orbital logistics as reliable and accessible as terrestrial freight.

Marcus Steinfeld

Marcus Steinfeld

CTO & Co-Founder

Marcus is a propulsion and embedded-systems engineer who previously led R&D for upper-stage thruster programs at a major European space prime. At PAVE Space he architects the core propulsion stack and spacecraft avionics platform.

PAVE Space operates from Zurich Technopark with a focused team of propulsion engineers, mission planners, and embedded systems specialists. We work in 6-week build cycles, test hardware in-house, and hold a weekly all-hands where every engineer demos what they shipped.

How We Work

Six-week build cycles. Hardware-in-the-loop testing every sprint. Decisions are written down before meetings, not during them. We ship production firmware weekly and test fire propulsion hardware monthly at our facility outside Zurich.

What We Look For

People who build things that work in harsh environments. Prior space experience is valued but not required. We hire from automotive, oil & gas, and defense backgrounds regularly. If you have shipped hardware that cannot fail, we want to talk.
